Artistic Intervention: Contemporary Dance in 360°

THE CURRENT DANCE COLLECTIVE is an artists collective from the region of Hamburg, which focuses on interdisciplinary work between choreography, performance and art. The choreographer Suse Tietjen brings together photography and video artist Maria Gibert, musician and composer Vincent Straube and a group of dancers to work together on current issues of identity, body and politics.
Contemporary, social and artistic trends are addressed and condensed with the questions, experiences, ideas and interpretations of the young artists. This results in dance performances as well as experimental short films, virtual reality experiences and photographic works that focus on the moving body and its world of experience.
Suse Tietjen will give insights into the work of the interdisciplinary collective and present the 360° dance experiment "In a lost place".
